Land Use Permit Issuance Procedure

• The Township will inspect the site within 10 days of submission of a deemed complete Land Use Permit Application. The Township assumes the site is marked off and ready for inspection at time of application unless informed otherwise.

• The site must have the greatest extents of the structure marked with either paint, flags or stakes. The property lines closest to the structure must be clearly delineated so that proper setback of the structure from the property lines can be verified.

• Upon issuance of a Land Use Permit the applicant should contact PA Municipal Code Alliance to determine the need for a Building Permit (issued thru their office) for the proposed construction. They are located at 380 Wayne Avenue, Chambersburg and their phone # is (717) 496-4996.
